“The more the better!”

On the afternoon of the 4th, the first base bullpen at Sangdong Stadium in Gimhae. Before joining the World Baseball Classic (WBC) national team, Park Se-woong (28, Lotte), who builds his body at Futures Camp, started pitching in the bullpen for the third time.

He threw 52 pitches while Futures pitching coach Lim Kyung-wan watched. He threw a variety of pitches, including fastballs, sliders, curveballs, and forkballs. In particular, the slider that curves sharply after entering the trajectory of the fastball was excellent.

Catcher Jung Bo-geun (24), who worked with Park Se-woong, added a choo-im-sae, saying “Nice ball” and “The season has started.” It meant that Park Se-woong’s pitch was very good. After the bullpen pitching, I talked with Jung Bo-geun for a while. Their faces brightened. This means that everything is going according to plan.

Park Se-woong, who met with the reporter, said, “I am in very good shape. He doesn’t have any major discomfort, and when he throws the ball, he feels very good. My first bullpen pitching was really good, but not as good as today. The second bullpen pitching felt like a back and forth. The balance was good and the ball went in as I wanted. I am also satisfied with the control of the breaking ball.”

He continued, “(Jeong) Bo-geun said his pace was good enough to play today. He didn’t look at the speed gun, so I’m not sure about the exact velocity, but he said that Bo-geun seems to have a speed of 148 km. He said it was almost the same as what he threw during the season, but I confirmed that my feeling was not wrong.”  토토사이트

Coach Lim Gyeong-wan also showed a satisfactory response after watching Park Se-woong’s pitching. Park Se-woong said, “The coach also told me that it seems to be getting better and better. He thanked the coach for helping him in many ways.”

Park Se-woong, who works hard with Futures players at Sangdong Stadium in Gimhae, plans to join the WBC national team in Tucson, Arizona, USA on the 14th.

This season is very important to Park Se-woong. The goal is to catch two rabbits at the same time: selection of the Hangzhou Asian Games national team and Lotte’s advancement to the postseason. Thanks to his diligent preparations throughout the winter, he is continuing a good trend.

He said, “No matter how long the season is, if the season is long with good things such as going to the WBC, experiencing fall baseball, participating in the Hangzhou Asian Games and the Premier 12 national team, the season can be long at any time. He’s good to play all year round,” he said, indicating that he wants to have his best season.
