K League 1 Pohang Steelers recruited two new physical coaches and completed the composition of the coaching staff ahead of the 2023 season.
The Pohang club announced through a press release on the 7th that they have recruited physical coaches, Guilherme Rondon and Son Dong-min. Coach Chaon is a veteran coach who has been teaching physical training since 2002. In particular, since 2015, he has been steadily active as a physical coach at K-League clubs such as Gwangju, Seongnam, Jeju, and Daejeon, so he is familiar with life in Korea 안전놀이터. Coach Dong-min Son is an academic leader who is pursuing a master’s degree in exercise physiology. In 2022, he started his physical coaching career at Ansan. He is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and will be responsible for bridging coaches and players.
The new physical coaches who have joined this season are raising the stamina of the Pohang players through winter training that started at Songra Clubhouse from the 3rd with Head Coach Kim Dae-gun, Coach Lee Gwang-jae, Coach Lee Gyu-yong, and GK Coach Park Ho-jin, centered on coach Ki-dong Kim.
