KXO “Working hard for the Paris Olympics” after completing training in Mongolia at -40 degrees Celsius

Even the frigid temperatures of minus 40 degrees did not stop the Korean athletes from pursuing the 3×3.

KXO (Korea 3×3 Basketball Federation) held the ‘2023 Korea X Mongolia 3×3 International Exchange’ in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from the 20th to the 23rd. This exchange, which took place in Mongolia, made it clear why Mongolian 3×3 has risen to the world level beyond Asia.

KXO prepared this exchange event after discussing with the Mongolian 3×3 Basketball Association since last year. The Korean players, who refused to take the Lunar New Year holiday and boarded a plane to Mongolia, diligently trained for 4 days and 3 nights despite the freezing cold of minus 40 degrees Celsius.

This exchange was supervised by Tulga Sukhbaatar Men’s National 3×3 Coach of Mongolia. Coach Thulga Sukhbaatar, who has been coaching the Mongolian men’s 3×3 national team since 2017, won the 3×3 Asian Cup in 2018, runner-up in the 2019 3×3 Asian Cup, won the 3×3 Challenger in 2019, and qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, bringing Mongolia 3×3 to a world-class level. Korean players were able to experience Mongolia’s system, which they had not known before, with their whole body. Coach Tulga Sukbaatar guided Korean players with the training method used by the Mongolian 3×3 national team, and the Korean players said, “This is the first training method I’ve experienced. The way I warm up my body is also different from Korea. It’s very strange and I think it’s a little more efficient.” said.  슬롯사이트

They also played 6 intense practice matches. The Korean players, who had practice matches with Mongolian U21 and U23 players along with the Mongolian 3×3 national team, Cherungbad Enkhtaibang, focused on learning the advantages of Mongolian 3×3 in a fierce game reminiscent of a real match.

Park Min-soo, who came down from the sky, said, “I learned the Mongolian training system, patterns, and mindset well. I was amazed by the Mongolian players who moved like machines. “He talked about what he felt in Mongolia.

A KXO official said, “It was rewarding to return the Lunar New Year holiday. I am getting a lot of information that I would not have known if I had not come to Mongolia.” “We need to raise our rankings. For this, Mongolia has hosted 4 FIBA 3×3 challengers this year, and China, which has been refraining from international competitions in its country due to Corona 19, is said to be hosting 15 FIBA 3×3 challengers.”

“Korea is ranked lower than them, but there is no specific roadmap yet. Even now, I plan to work hard from KXO so that as many Korean players as possible can participate in international competitions and earn a lot of points. I plan to establish relationships with 3×3 developed countries and create opportunities for Korean players to interact with them,” he said, saying he would make 2023 the first year of entering the international stage.
