Daejeon needs last-minute spurt to reach Final A, seeks three-game unbeaten streak against top-ranked Ulsan

Daejeon Hana Citizen will travel to Ulsan after the A-Match break.

Ulsan Hyundai and Daejeon will meet in the 30th round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 at Munsu Football Stadium in Ulsan, South Korea on April 16 at 7pm.

Daejeon, which rebuilt its squad during the A-Match break with a mini-training camp in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, is currently eighth in the league with 37 points. With only four matches left in the regular round, the team will need to stay focused in every match to reach Final A. The gap between the two teams is not huge. The gap isn’t huge. They are four points behind sixth-place Daegu FC and six points behind fourth- and fifth-place FC Seoul and Jeonbuk Hyundai, who are tied on points.

Their next four games are against Ulsan, Suwon Samsung, Gangwon FC, and Jeju United. With the exception of league leader Ulsan, these teams are currently ranked lower than Daejeon. If Daejeon can set the tone in the first game, they can gain momentum.온라인바카라

Daejeon has been strong against Ulsan this season. They won 2-1 at home in Round 7 in April. They also earned a point in a 3-3 draw away to Ulsan in Round 15. Daejeon is the only K League 1 club Ulsan hasn’t beaten this year.

One of the key players is striker Thiago. Thiago is the team’s top scorer with 13 goals in the league this season. He’s been especially hot lately. He has scored six goals in his last four games. He even scored a hat trick against Pohang Steelers in Round 27.

“I think if you play for the team, the goals will come naturally,” Thiago said. First and foremost, the team needs to win. Our opponent is Ulsan, but we’ve been strong against them this season, so we’ll go into the game with confidence,” he said.
