149km fastball bang! The pitch that even the home run king recognized, I dream of becoming a KT ace

KT Wiz’s new foreign pitcher, Bo Shul-seo (29), performed his first live pitching at the spring camp.

On the 11th (Korean time), Schulser performed his live pitching at the spring camp held at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Arizona, USA. Against Byeong-ho Park and Baek-ho Kang, Schulser threw 16 pitches, including a slub, change-up, cutter, and fastball, to check his condition. His top speed was 149 km/h.

“I was nervous because I pitched with a batter in the at-bat for the first time in a long time since last October,” said Schulser. Health is the top priority, but I was satisfied with the condition of my arms and body balance today,” he said, expressing his feelings after finishing live pitching. 바카라

Park Byung-ho and Kang Baek-ho, who directly faced Schulser’s ball, said, “Even though it was my first pitching, the fastball and cutter pitches were good. He also had a great pitch that allowed him to put all kinds of pitches on the course he wanted.”

Schulser, who made his major league debut last season and recorded an ERA of 3.63 in 10 games (22⅓ innings), uses fastballs, changeups, cutters, and curveballs. Last year, his fastball average velocity was 92.8 miles per hour (149.3 km/h).

Wes Benjamin, who celebrated his second year in the KBO League this year, said, “I was very excited during my first pitching, so I had an experience of over-pacing and trying to throw too much. I advised Schulser to take time to be more calm and improve his condition step by step.”
